[2010-02-19] In the current week, Mr. President will hold several meetings with political leaders from the Middle East and Europe, including the Israeli Foreign Affairs Minister Avigdor Lieberman, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Audronius Aľubalis, President of the Republic of Bulgaria Georgi Parvanov, President of the Palestinian Authority Mahmoud Abbas and Permanent President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy. President will also participate in the new year reception with the King of Belgium Albert II. On Thursday President will give a speech on the significance of the Polish-German reconciliation for European integration.

On 7th June, in the European elections, we chose 50 MEPs from Poland. The Civic Platform obtained 44,43% of votes and, as a result, now holds 25 mandates.
