With Commissioner Cañete in the Center for Clean Coal Technologies

On Tuesday, April 21, during the 7th European Economic congress in Katowice, Jerzy Buzek and the EU Commissioner for climate and energy Miguel Arias Cañete visited the Center for Clean Coal Technologies in Zabrze. After the visit Jerzy Buzek said:  'A higher energy security and cleaner use of coal and other fossil fuels which for many European regions remain a precious energy source: this is one of the biggest energy challenges we are facing. The Center for Clean Coal Technologies in Zabrze is an excellent example of how to bring minds and EU funds together to work out the solutions. The Center was often mentioned in previous editions of the European Economic Congress, and I am very glad that during this year's EEC the Commissioner for Climate and Energy Miguel Arias Cañete could visit the CCCT himself.'
